Hello to all in blogland. After several of my friends convinced me I needed a blog, I decided to give it a try. I'm a quilter by day and most of the night. On here I will keep you posted on creative endevors. I'll show the work of my clients if I have there permission to do so. I've been quilting for 26 years, and longarm quilting for the last 6 years, it seems like yesterday that my Gammill came to live with me, but I have had the most fun the last 6 years having the time of my life quilting my own creations along with the creations of my clients. I do mostly everyday style quilting for my clients but on mine I kick it up a notch to show off my artistic ways.
Here's what I'm currently working on for me. Since I have two Christmas trees in my home and only one tree skirt (quilted of course) I decided to do this pattern. This is one of Judy Niemeyer patterns. It's a new pattern of hers and is available online or request it from your favorite quilt shop.
Here's the progress I've made so far. This is a paper pieced pattern. I have a technique for paper piecing that makes it so much easier. I'll share it with all of you at a later date.
I'm going to devote tonight to working on this project as the holiday season is quickly approaching.
